Blinken: No Evidence of Russian Withdrawal

It’s about actions, not words…

Earlier this week, Russia laughed off the idea that it was going to invade, saying it had already started pulling troops back and sending them back to their home bases.

Reports are now stating that is not true; they have seen no evidence of a lessening of troops along the Ukraine border.

Not Happening

While appearing on ABC News, Blinken, when asked about a reduction in troops in the area by Russia, responded in the negative.

He stated, “We’re not.

“Unfortunately, there’s a difference between what Russia says and what it does.

“What we’re seeing is no meaningful pullback.

“On the contrary, we continue to see forces, especially forces that would be in the vanguard of any renewed aggressions against Ukraine, continuing to be at the border, to mass at the border.”

He later added, “We said that we were in a window of time in which the invasion could come at any time.

“President [Vladimir] Putin’s put in place the capacity to act on very short notice.

“He can pull the trigger. He could pull it today. He could pull it tomorrow. He could pull it next week.

“The forces are there if he wants to renew aggression against Ukraine.”

All the while, both Ukraine and Russia are saying the entire West is pushing a narrative that simply will not happen.

Reports surfaced over the weekend that stated today would be the day of the invasion, but that now appears to have been a false flag.

It is tough to tell if we are being played right now, and that includes which side is playing us.

Is this Russia playing possum before making a move, or is the Biden administration building this up to declare a huge diplomatic win?

At this point, your guess is as good as mine.
