This story is for the purpose of showing the duplicity of today’s Democrats and mainstream media and nothing more.

I want to be very clear, when you see this video, there is simply no way anyone can doubt the actions taken by the officers.

Due to the suspect’s actions, nine officers opened fire on the man, killing him, but most of you have probably not ever heard about the story.

Highway Shootout

Landon Eastep, 37, was sitting on the side of the highway when an officer stopped.

According to the officer, he was trying to offer Eastep a ride off the interstate, then everything went sideways.

According to reports, Eastep pulled a box cutter.

After he drew the weapon, an off-duty Mount Juliet officer had stopped to try to talk Eastep down.

The negotiations went on for about 30 minutes.

At this point, Eastep was surrounded by nine officers with weapons out, ready to fire, when he made a sudden move into his pocket in what seemed as though he was pulling a weapon.

Now, anyone that watched the video can see officers did just about everything in their power to deescalate the situation, but the suspect was clearly on a mission.

So, tell me why the media and Democrats are not freaking out about a man armed with a box cutter getting gunned down by nine officers on a highway?

The shooting is under investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, but I really want to know why this has not sparked national outrage and demands of police reform.

I will let you make the call on that one.
