A story that has captured the hearts of the entire country has had a horrific ending.
After a 4-year-old boy with Autism went missing in Georgia, the entire country hoped for a happy conclusion.
Sadly, the boy was found early Tuesday morning in a pond very close to where he went missing.
Just a Sad Day
Four-year-old Kyuss Williams had wandered away from a family member’s apartment early Monday evening.
His family was in the area to visit relatives.
Minutes after he disappeared, his family reported him missing (at around 6:20 p.m.).
DeKalb County Police stated, “Kyuss was recovered around 2:30 a.m. this morning in a nearby pond.
“We extend our condolences to the Kyuss family during this time and we thank everyone who worked to find him.”
No foul play is suspected in the young boy’s death.
DeKalb County Police Chief Mirtha Ramos stated, “The family was in the residence when they realized the child had left the residence.
“They didn’t know where the child was.”
Our thoughts and hearts go out to the family, as I simply cannot imagine the pain of losing such a young child in this manner.
