One question needs to be answered to fully appreciate this battle you are about to see between Tucker Carlson and Rep. Maria Salazar (R-FL).

Once you answer that, you can appreciate Tucker Carlson’s stance against Salazar during a recent segment.

Salazar has a new piece of legislation that creates a middle ground for the problem of the millions of illegals that currently reside in this country.

Her legislation would allow these immigrants to stay here, get a job, etc., but it would not give them citizenship.

It rewards them for crossing the border illegally rather than sending them home or prosecuting them for breaking the law.

We are now literally discussing getting into a war with Russia to defend Ukraine’s border, but ours is porous.

They may not be using tanks and armored vehicles, but they are breaking the law and some are bringing drugs and weapons with them.

I understand Salazar’s compromise and how she is trying to put this issue to bed, but I still don’t agree with it.

The moment you legitimize illegal immigrants, you set a dangerous precedent that can never be taken back.
