A brazen attack took place Thursday in Cancun, Mexico.
According to the report, gunmen arrived by boat, then sought out their intended targets.
Two suspected gang members were killed in what appeared to be a blatant execution.
Not an Ideal Vacation
The beach was packed with tourists at the time of the attack.
One vacationer, Mike Sington, stated, “I’ve never been so scared, literally shaking.
“I’m fine now, barricaded in my hotel room for the night, just trying to decompress.”
Local officials confirmed reports that the killings appear to be an execution-style shooting in broad daylight…

Local officials now believe the killings were related to a turf war among rival gangs.
The two gang members that were killed had arrived outside the Azul Beach Resort and the Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancun, claiming the territory was now theirs.
Head prosecutor of Quintana Roo state, Oscar Montes de Oca, stated, “About 15 people arrived on the beach to assassinate two men who had showed up saying they were the new dealers in the area.”
With air travel just getting ramped back up, this is the last thing Mexico needed for its economy, a point made by former Mexican Senator Claudia Anaya.
She tweeted, “Today, from a horror movie what tourists have experienced in an exclusive hotel in #Cancun.
“Do you think tourists want to keep coming to share our tragedy?”
I know what my answer is… “No!”
