Today, attorneys in the Kyle Rittenhouse case are making their closing arguments.
However, the jury will have one less charge to deliberate once they are sent to the juror’s room to decide the outcome of this case.
Kenosha County Circuit Judge Bruce Schroeder dismissed the sixth charge against Rittenhouse, a misdemeanor gun possession charge.
Closing Arguments
Liberals are already losing their minds over this, as it was arguably the easiest charge prosecutors would have been able to make stick against Rittenhouse.
That would have guaranteed that he spent some time behind bars.
Rittenhouse still has five felony counts that will be decided by the jury, but the judge will reportedly allow lesser charges to be considered.
Personally, I feel the entire case should have already been dismissed either by purposeful mistrial or direct verdict by the judge.
The entire case against Rittenhouse fell apart rather quickly courtesy of the prosecutor’s own witnesses.
The most damning was the shooting “victim,” who admitted he was not fired upon until he drew his weapon and pointed it at Rittenhouse, putting his life in danger.
At the time the statement was made, one prosecutor dropped his head into his hands, not being able to believe what had just happened.
This is a jury trial, however, so we just never know how things will go.
If these people had their minds made up before sitting in their chair, Rittenhouse’s fate may have already been decided.
Wisconsin has activated the local Guard, with 500 troops now on standby awaiting the verdict to be delivered.
Regardless of how this comes out, neither side will be happy.
Conservatives believe this trial should have already been dismissed, but I doubt they will be rioting regardless of the outcome.
If Rittenhouse gets a walk, I think it is a relatively safe assumption this entire country will get lit on fire by the left, both literally and figuratively.
We will know soon enough, as the verdict is not expected to take long to deliver.
