It looks like the Pelosi family is about to get knocked down a few rungs.
Over the weekend, Paul Pelosi, the uber-rich husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), was involved in an accident in his Porsche.
Rather than taking an Uber, Pelosi got behind the wheel, blowing higher than a .08 blood alcohol level.

There is simply no excuse for someone with the means of Pelosi to have been involved in an accident for drunk driving.
Even if he had chosen Uber’s top-tier service, it would have cost him a couple of hundred bucks for the ride, which is nothing for a man worth more than $100 million.
Regardless, Saturday night, he got behind the wheel, and at 11:44 p.m., he was charged with a DUI.
He was booked at a local detention center and eventually freed on $5,000 bail on Sunday morning.
While there were reportedly significant damages to both vehicles, neither driver was seriously injured.
Pelosi, however, now faces fines of up to $10,000 if found guilty of the charges.
House Speaker Pelosi, of course, has not commented and has asked for privacy regarding this personal family matter.
Is she kidding? Miss high and mighty has something to say about everyone and everything wants us to respect her personal space?
Hopefully, the judge looks at Pelosi’s means and throws the book at him for his alleged violation.
However, that is unlikely to happen because we all know they take care of their own.
