When Donald Trump was running for office, he created significant uproar over comments regarding the late Senator John McCain (R-AZ).
With Trump now firmly behind Harriet Hageman to unseat Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), the Wyoming congresswoman is starting to fire back at the former president.
After seeing Trump post a photoshopped picture of Cheney and former president George W. Bush, Cheney responded with her own photo.
I Like…
The infamous line by Trump was that he liked “people who weren’t captured.”
That comment caused a massive split between Trump and McCain’s allies.
Cheney is often compared to McCain these days, and she is deeply aligned with George W. Bush, who Trump also despises.
So, in answer to Trump’s prank, Cheney hit him right back by throwing his own words back at him…

Cheney also stated stat many members of Congress have silently come to her to congratulate her on her ongoing battle with Trump.
This will all play out in the Wyoming primary, as this is by far the most important election of the 2022 season for Trump.
This is absolutely establishment versus the new generation of Republicans that want to see Trump’s agenda come to fruition.
For that very reason, the floodgates will open in terms of fundraising for Cheney, who is already benefitting from Trump’s feud with the Bush family.
In October, Bush will be hosting a fundraiser in Texas for Cheney, and you better believe that Trump will be watching that guest list like a hawk.
