Chris Wallace Going Back to Live TV on CNN

Former Fox News anchor Chris Wallace thought greener pastures awaited him at CNN.

CNN opened up the vault to lure Wallace over as its primary draw on CNN+, which was its new streaming venture.

The only problem was that the venture did not even make it a month.

CNN was then left with the problem of what to do with Wallace and his mega-salary.

Finding Wallace a Home

Even though Wallace was supposed to make CNN+ a rival of Fox Nation, the platform did not even last a month.

So, the network had no choice but to throw Wallace back on the air.

It has found him a home in a somewhat familiar spot, albeit a bit later in the day.

Wallace will now anchor “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?” on Sunday nights.

This is the same show title that Wallace was hosting on CNN+, so I am not sure what they really expect to happen here in terms of a ratings boost.

The show will also stream on HBO Max.

Wallace stated, “’Who’s Talking?’ is a rare show built for streaming that gives newsmakers the opportunity to have candid conversations and an open dialogue about the issues of the day and whatever is on their minds.

“I’ve never had more fun developing a program and am looking forward to bringing it to both HBO Max and CNN audiences.”

Here’s hoping he fails as miserably on the mother station as he did on CNN+.
