Chuck Schumer Predicted Agencies Would Get Back at Trump

Remember when Donald Trump was being very critical of the FBI?

Well, Senator Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) at the time said something that is making its way back around.

Schumer more or less predicted the FBI would come back to get Trump for badmouthing the agency.

Six Ways

Trump had hammered the FBI over Russian interference, saying that the FBI needed more time to “build a case” after a delayed security briefing.

Schumer, while appearing with Rachel Maddow on MSNBC, stated, “You take on the intelligence community, they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you, so even for a practical, supposedly hard-nosed businessman, he’s being really dumb to do this,”

Maddow responded, “What do you think the intelligence community would do if they were motivated to?”

Schumer replied, “I don’t know,” Schumer said. “But from what I am told, they are very upset with how he has treated them and talked about them. And we need the intelligence community.

“Look at the Russian hacking. Without the intelligence community we wouldn’t have discovered it.

“Do we think he has an agenda to try to dismantle parts of the intelligence community? I mean this form of taunting hostility.

“Let me tell you, whether you’re a super liberal Democrat or a very conservative Republican, you should be against dismantling the intelligence community.”

Here is the interview…

Trump hit the nail on the head on this one, as we later found out that the FBI used faulty intelligence and abused FISA on four occasions to come after him.

It looks like Schumer knew what he was talking about all along!
