CNN Says Americans Getting $100/Month Raise with Falling Gasoline Prices

Every day I feel like I have a report that starts off the same way…

“Never in my life have I seen the media do something so shameful to twist a narrative as….”

Well, it happened again today as I was browsing headlines on CNN Business.

Joe Gave Us a Raise

Chris Isidore wrote an article headlined “America just got a $100-a-month raise.”

Uhm, no we did not.

The premise behind the article is that since gasoline prices have backpedaled from a high of slightly more than $5 to under $4, the average usage will put about $100 back in your pocket.

Yeah, but we are still down more than $100 from where we were when Biden took office.

If you did not tout the rising prices as a pay cut, you do not get to say we got a pay raise here.

Secondly, Biden has done nothing to contribute to this.

Again, all you need to do is look at usage levels to see the demand has dropped, therefore, supply is catching up, and prices have been lowered.

This is like Joe Biden touting the most aggressive job growth market in history when he still does not have unemployment down to where it was before the pandemic hit.

We are being duped… by everyone.

And all the president can offer are more lies.

Year-over-year real wages have been negative for 22 months - ever since Biden forced through his $1.9 trillion "stimulus."

That's a wages recession for American workers.
