It was not very long ago that Joe Biden vowed, on national TV, to keep forces on the ground until every American was out of Afghanistan.
He made that promise… and he broke it.
Instead, he kept a promise to terrorists, and now we have no idea how many additional lives will be lost.
Broken Promises
More than likely, hundreds of Americans are trembling, huddled in some corner in their dwellings trying to figure out how they will get back to the United States.
Many of them are probably known to the Taliban, or their homes have been marked as possible enemies of the terrorist group.
There are no more American troops on the ground to save them and nobody ever came to help them.
Instead, Joe Biden told them to fight their way to the airport and if you are lucky to make it through, we will give you a ride home.
Joe Biden broke his promise to be there for them, and now Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) is calling him out for it.
Cotton stated, “For the last two weeks, my office, like so many Congressional offices, was focused on trying to get American citizens out of Afghanistan.
“Joe Biden broke that promise. He promised the Taliban we’d be out by August 31.
“He promised the Americans in Afghanistan he’d stay to get them out.
“He kept his promise to the Taliban. He broke his promise to Americans.”
Every person in this country needs to let that sink in… Biden chose the Taliban over our own citizens.
