Reports have been breaking for several days now regarding the new Delta variant of the COVID-19 virus.

The Biden administration has been making a major push to get people vaccinated by saying they need protection against this new variant.

That argument is about to take a hit, as reports are now breaking that Delta has broken through against a fully vaccinated man in Pennsylvania.

Delta Strikes

There are some very serious concerns that this fall could wind up being much like last fall due to variant strands of the COVID virus.

To this point, most variants have been fended off by the vaccine and natural antibodies, but the Delta variant seems to be raising some alarms.

It has been present in breakthrough cases, with the case of a 73-year-old veteran in Pennsylvania being an example.

Joe Pucci was recently hospitalized for COVID even though he has been fully vaccinated.

He first started to see symptoms last month and as his condition grew worse, he went to the local VA for help.

Now hospitalized, Pucci is not hopeful for a recovery, but doctors cite that early treatment may help him beat this attack (Pucci does have underlying conditions).

The new variant is raising concerns because it is reportedly far more transmissible than any other variant of the virus we have seen.
