There is a new governor in New York, but it is the same old story.
Reports are breaking that COVID hospitalizations due to COVID have been grossly exaggerated in New York.
It now appears as though only about 50 percent of the reported hospitalizations are due to COVID.
Get It Right
When you have all this federal money at stake, everyone is going to play games.
What we are seeing in New York now is a direct reflection of Democrats having politicized the pandemic during the election.
Democrats wanted COVID numbers to go through the roof to attack Trump.
At the time, even Dr. Fauci admitted that if they had COVID, it was a COVID case, period.
Then, as now, people are being hospitalized for other reasons, but they are testing positive for COVID.
Now, however, with Joe Biden in office, they want accurate numbers so Biden does not get hit with more bad numbers.
When New York was audited, the breakdown was pretty staggering, showing that 51 percent of patients tagged as COVID patients were admitted for reasons other than COVID, only they had tested positive for COVID after being admitted.
In NYC, 51% of patients who count as "hospitalized with COVID" were admitted for reasons other than COVID and then tested positive for it anyway. https://t.co/QPNMPL69vQ

Keep in mind, these hospitalization numbers are what Democrats are using to drive mandates as well, so overreporting COVID hospitalizations then correcting them down the road seems to be the game plan here, as we have also seen this with children’s hospitalizations.
At this point, we should not be guessing or getting corrections, just get it right.
Hochul has been in office for only a few weeks, yet she already has a reporting scandal as well as prioritizing minorities over whites for treatment.
At this point, she is no better than Cuomo, possibly worse.
What do you think about the misreporting on COVID numbers still happening in New York?
