This report is about setting the record straight.
After hearing comments made by Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX), it needs to be done.
The topic… defunding the FBI.
Let’s Be Real
Crenshaw is looking to distance himself immediately from this almost non-existent movement of defunding the FBI.
He stated, “It makes us seem like extremist Democrats, right?
“And so Marjorie and AOC can go join the defund the law enforcement club if they want. Ninety-nine percent of Republicans are not on that train.”
In reality, most people do not want to defund the FBI, but they do want it cleaned up.
I have even suggested a rebranding of sorts, as the image of the FBI is extremely tainted right now and I don’t know how it recovers from this.
When you look at the FISA abuse, the misinformation guru, and now this raid against Trump, with no movement on Hunter Biden, it is pretty clear the agency has been deeply penetrated and politicized.
Crenshaw agrees, stating, “The criticisms that we’re leveling against the FBI and DOJ are fully warranted.”
What we really need from the FBI is a purge, and, as I have stated before, if that means a rebranding, so be it.
There are a lot of excellent agents that remain in service to the FBI that want to do the right thing, but leadership and a rogue element have damaged the agency almost beyond repair.
Something has to be done, and it has to be done now or what is a small voice will become a very loud one soon enough.
