Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) is trying to put into perspective how ridiculous it is for Joe Biden to limit a selection to the court to one race and gender.
His claim is a bit sensationalistic, but his point is taken.
Cruz, during a video interview, claimed that Joe Biden is telling 94 percent of this country, “I don’t give a damn about you. You are ineligible.”

Cruz loves the law, period.
When Trump was president, I was sure Cruz was going to get nominated to the Supreme Court.
That never happened, but it may one day.
So, it was no surprise to him go ballistic when Joe Biden said he was limiting his candidates to only black women.
Cruz responded, “I have to say that’s offensive.
“Black woman are what, 6% of the U.S. population?
“He’s saying to 94% of Americans, ‘I don’t give a damn about you. You are ineligible.’
“And he’s also saying, it’s actually an insult to black women.”
He later added, “It’s an example how Democrats, particularly the far left, everything is race, they will discriminate based on race, they will pigeonhole you.
“They don’t care about the individual.”
The far Left doesn’t care about the individual, they will pigeonhole you, & they will discriminate based on race.

Now, the let is going to grab a clip from that to try to excoriate Cruz as a racist.
They will also criticize the comment because clearly everyone in the country is not eligible for the Supreme Court, but we get his point.
As I have stated before, Biden’s eventual nominee may be the best and brightest liberals have to offer, but the selection should have come from an open field, not painted as Joe Biden playing the hero for black women.
In the process, he is belittling the appointment and, as Ted Cruz stated, insulting the candidates.
