For those of you that follow Dana Perino, she has suffered a loss this week.
Perino’s dog, Jasper, who had a large social media following of his own, has passed away.
Sadly, Jasper was only nine but fell victim to rapidly moving cancer throughout his body.

As an animal lover myself, I can totally empathize with the loss Perino is suffering through right now.
These animals become just as much a part of the family, oftentimes more so, than actual humans.
They don’t judge, they don’t walk away, they just sit there, and their mere presence makes you feel better about whatever you are going through at the time.
Jasper was a rock for Perino, who often shared pictures of their adventures on social media.
Perino, on Saturday, broke the news, stating, “It is its deep sadness that I have to let you all know that Jasper passed away today.”

On Instagram, she added, “A fast-spreading cancer caused him to leave us sooner than we’d ever hoped. We got to send him off – talking about all the fishing he can do in Heaven.”
Jasper was a regular on Fox News with Perino, as well as the subject of a book she wrote, “Let Me Tell You about Jasper: How My Best Friend Became America’s Dog.”
