Michigan Democrat Charged for Misconduct in 2020 Election

Donald Trump’s quest to prove the 2020 election was rigged just got another boost, or did it?

A Michigan election official has been charged in an election-fraud case.

Ex- Flint Township Clerk Kathy Funk has been charged with official misconduct and ballot tampering.

Breaking the Seal

The charges against Funk were announced on Friday.

Unfortunately for Trump, the charges had nothing to do with the general election.

Funk has been accused of purposely breaking the seal on a ballot box so the votes would be voided.

Funk narrowly won the election.

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel stated, “Election officials must uphold the integrity of their positions.

“Those who abuse that commitment undermine the very foundation of our democracy.

“Our department is committed to prosecuting election violations, regardless of the political party of the perpetrator.”

Funk, of course, has denied the allegations and plans to plead innocent on all charges.

She could face five years in prison on each charge if she is convicted.
