Over the last few weeks, COVID has been running rampant in Democrat circles, including the White House.
That was all that was needed for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to go off and call them all out.
DeSantis called them all hypocrites, but not for the reason you would think.
It’s All Theater
When DeSantis was asked about the outbreak in DD, he did not hold back.
The Florida Republican stated, “Some people will say ‘Oh, they’re hypocrites.’
“Yeah they are, but that’s not the issue.
“The issue is that if they thought their policies really were necessary, and these mitigations really were effective, they would be abiding by it.
“They are not abiding by it because they know it’s all about politics and control.”
While these very Democrats were opining for lockdowns, many of them headed for Florida.
DeSantis added, “If I had a dollar for every lockdown politician that escaped their own policies to come to our free state, I would be set for life.
Well, that is a bit of an exaggeration, but you get his point.
DeSantis’ policies have worked, as Florida was among the top-rated states in terms of how it came out of COVID measuring hospitalizations, deaths, and economic factors.
