DeSantis Finally Comments on Gillum Charges

Governor Ron DeSantis has been fairly quiet on the Andrew Gillum front throughout his problems.

That finally changed this week.

DeSantis did not hold back in criticizing Gillum, his 2018 gubernatorial opponent who he beat by less than 40,000 votes.

Now What…

Gillum was a true rising star in the party during the election.

Had he won, he probably would have been in line to run for president in 2020.

So, not only did Florida dodge a bullet, but the country dodged an even bigger one.

It is bad enough we have a First Son who does crack and sleeps with prostitutes… because we could have had a president that does that had Gillum gotten by DeSantis.

To that point, DeSantis ripped Gillum and the media after more than a dozen charges were filed against the former Tallahassee mayor.

DeSantis stated, “I would ask a lot of the media that propped him up whether they have any type of mea culpa on that.

“There were clearly a lot of issues there. If you looked under the hood you saw it.

He continued, “What was presented to the public was that this guy was the second coming.

“If I had not won in 2018 this state would be in a much worse shape.”
