Since the start of its little tiff with Governor DeSantis, Disney has been having a tough go of it.

The company has reportedly lost tens of millions of dollars, yet it keeps pushing DeSantis.

So, in response, DeSantis has thrown yet another haymaker that will surely result in even more boycotts of the resort.

There may not be a more inflamed allegation you could make against a company for conservatives than to accuse them of being in bed with China right now.

That, however, is the latest by Governor DeSantis.

In part, he stated, “Disney has done a lot to partner with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and has really made a fortune over there without raising a peep about any of their atrocities.

“I think China is the number one geopolitical threat that this country faces.

“I think that we need to have strong alliances with the Japanese, South Koreans, I think India needs to be in our orbit to try to check China’s influence around the world, but particularly when you start talking about the Western Hemisphere, it’s a big problem.

“It’s not just South America, you see them in the Caribbean flexing their muscle.”

He continued, “So, we need to get real here and understand that China’s a threat. I think you’ve had the ruling elite in this country for decades have basically done all they can to elevate China.

“And a lot of them made a fortune off it. But it’s made our country weaker, it’s eroded our industrial base.”

DeSantis also recently discussed how he is leveling the playing field with Disney…

I support what DeSantis is doing here, but my only worry is that it backfires and Disney shuts down operations.

I doubt that will happen, but if it did, it would cost Florida tens of thousands of jobs, wreck the state’s economy, and turn Orlando into a ghost town.
