If things keep going the way they are at the border, it is only a matter of time before Mayorkas hands in his papers.
The Department of Homeland Security knows things are out of control at the border and even he is telling the Haitians to go home.
Add to the fact he is getting a little taste of fake news with #WhipGate, and he may just have hit his breaking point.

Some media members decided to publish photos from a particular angle that made it look like Border Patrol agents were using whips against Haitian illegal immigrants.
In fact, they were not hitting the Haitians with whips.
In the photograph, a long rein was used for riding, and when the reverse angle of the picture was shown, the rein was nowhere near the immigrant that caused all the stir. It was merely flying through the air while the agent tried to grab the Haitian running from him.
This had been debunked, but that did not stop Senator Chuck Schumer (D- N.Y.) from saying Haitians were whipped by border agents on the Senate floor on Tuesday.
The El Paso Times also reported that the agent “swung his whip menacingly, charging his horse toward the men in the river.” That never happened, period.
AOC tweeted, “It doesn’t matter if a Democrat or Republican is President, our immigration system is designed for cruelty towards and dehumanization of immigrants.
“Immigration should not be a crime, and its criminalization is a relatively recent invention. This is a stain on our country.”
Uhm, young lady, immigration is not illegal. Illegal immigration is! There is a HUGE difference that you still do not seem to understand.
Rep. Tlaib tweeted, “This is so sick and @CBP will continue to commit human rights abuses if we don’t stop it now.
“Cracking a f—ing whip on Haitians fleeing hardship shows you that this system simply can’t be reformed.”
Lies, lies, and more lies, based on fake news reporting.
Oh, and by the way, where was that outrage when Biden and General McKenzie disintegrated seven children and three innocent adults in Afghanistan and left Americans behind.
Again… illegal immigrants are their main priority over all else. Why is that?
Even Mayorkas has enough, openly stating that he reviewed the videos of the incident and he saw nothing wrong with the way agents handled themselves.
Mayorkas also went off on the Haitians, telling them to go back home.
He stated, “If you come to the United States illegally, you will be returned. Your journey will not succeed, and you will be endangering your life and your family’s lives.
“This administration is committed to developing safe, orderly, and humane pathways for migration. This is not the way to do it.”
That, of course, also received pushback, with Schumer pleading with Biden not to expel these people.
My question is, how much longer can Mayorkas keep this up now that members of his own party are turning against him?
UPDATE: 8:37 a.m. 9.22.2021 – After hearing Psaki, Biden, and Kamala Harris complain about the tactics used by Border Patrol agents, Mayorkas how now completely flipped on the agents.
He stated, “I was horrified by what I saw. We will let the investigation run its course, but the pictures that I observed troubled me profoundly.
“One cannot weaponize a horse to aggressively attack a child. That is unacceptable. That is not what our policies and our training require. … We will not tolerate mistreatment.”
