Justin Bieber has been diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder that has caused him to cancel some upcoming shows.

He’s just not physically capable of doing them.

Ramsey Hunt Syndrome has taken a serious toll on his body.

The music industry has faced a few big blows recently, with Justin Bieber announcing this diagnosis on June 11, and Toby Keith admitting to fans he has been battling stomach cancer on June 12.

Fans of both superstars are praying for their speedy recoveries.

“For those who are frustrated by my cancellations of the next shows, I’m just physically, obviously, not capable of doing them,” Justin Bieber said. “This is pretty serious as you can see. I wish this wasn’t the case, but obviously my body is telling me that I’ve got to slow down.”

After chickenpox, the Ramsay Hunt virus lives in a person’s nerves, potentially reactivating years later.

The syndrome most commonly impacts people over 60 years old, but Bieber’s diagnosis is a cruel reminder not to take your health for granted, no matter what age.
