Donald Trump’s attorneys are starting to cause a stink, and for good reason.

We all wanted to see that inventory list, warrant, and an affidavit from the raid.

We have two of the three so far, but it is not quite what it seems according to Trump’s attorneys.

Worthless

As we recently found out, the FBI took some things it was not supposed to.

Trump passports were taken, as were alleged attorney-client privileged documents.

Trump attorneys only have a clue based on some of the boxes’ markings what was taken, but the agents could have put other times into those boxes.

Hence the point made by Trump’s legal team.

Lindsey Halligan, a Florida-based lawyer at the estate during the search, stated, “We don’t know exactly what they took.

“We have asked multiple times for a real inventory description of what was taken.

“But the inventory list they gave us is borderline worthless.

“It doesn’t say where the documents were located, what specifically was taken.”

Trump’s team has asked for an independent review of what was taken so they could get a real inventory and verify privileged information was not taken, but the DOJ refused the request.

They have also asked for a non-redacted affidavit to be produced, but that request was also declined.

The FBI responded that it “follows search and seizure procedures ordered by courts, then returns items that do not need to be retained for law enforcement purposes.”

Halligan added, “We have real concerns in terms of whether they were right to take certain things.

“The Department of Justice is not communicating with us as to what the evidence is and what their intentions are.

“But we will continue to try to get to the bottom of it.”

Trump’s passports have since been returned, but that is the extent of it.

Garland will not be able to keep the peace on this for much longer, so the DOJ better make its move soon because a lot of people are getting very restless.

My guess is that any decision that is made will be done as close to the election as possible so as to scare people away from Republicans.
