As we all expected, the CDC has petitioned the Department of Justice to take up its battle.

A federal court overruled the decision after the Biden administration extended the travel mandate.

Now that the CDC has made its request, the DOJ will now take up the fight and appeal the decision.

The Hypocrisy

I do not know how this will all play out, but I can guarantee you the ultimate outcome will depend on who appointed the judge presiding over the case.

Regardless of that, I can tell you that the CDC is full of crap in keeping this mandate.

How can you recommend the lifting of Title 42 while at the same time asking for more COVID money and keeping the mask mandate in place?

None of this makes sense, nor does the reason why the Biden administration is giving the thumbs up to the DOJ to fight the ruling.

This is not about science, not even close.

This is about preserving the reputation of Biden’s CDC boss, which comes right from the mouth of White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki…
