We’re talking about Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster.
There is ONE reason why the 2022 PGA Championship is not being held there, as the original plan was.
Cancel culture.
The 2022 PGA had been scheduled to take place at Trump’s golf course, but that was before PGA boss Seth Waugh got involved.
He said that because of a “political situation not of our making,” he was “forced” to pull the tournament from Trump’s course.
I “had no choice,” he said.
Waugh was referring to January 6, 2021 as the reason the championship couldn’t be held at Trump’s course.
Trump probably wouldn’t have minded the publicity of hosting the tournament, but I’m sure he’s not complaining about the cash settlement they gave him as a result.
