Dr. Anthony Fauci has somehow convinced Democrats that he has the only opinion that matters when it comes to COVID.
In reality, he has bungled this pandemic from the outset.
Thankfully, with the pandemic now winding down, Fauci is considering retirement.
Good Riddance
When asked about finally stepping away, Fauci stated, “I have said that I would stay in what I’m doing until we get out of the pandemic phase and I think we might be there already.
“If we can stay in this, then we’re at a point where I feel that we are done with this, but I don’t have any plans right now to go away, but you never know.”
He then added, “I certainly have, because I have to do it some time.
“I can’t stay at this job forever, unless my staff find me slumped over at my desk one day. I’d rather not do that.”
In reality, Fauci knows that as soon as Republicans take back Congress, they are coming after him with both guns blazing.
His retirement package will pay him more than $350,000 a year, and he surely does not want to lose that.
If he steps down, maybe Republicans leave him alone, but I doubt it.
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) has been challenging and exposing Fauci from the very beginning, and now he smells blood in the water.
Fauci did the unthinkable… he turned his office into a political weapon, and he must be held accountable for it.
