Dr. Anthony Fauci has taken a lot of criticism over the last 18 months.
Most of that criticism is warranted due to the significant flip-flops he has made on some very key issues.
It has become clear to many that Fauci has allowed his office to be saturated by politics, but he is adamant that he will not step down, putting fault for mistrust on his accusers.
I’m Staying
In the early days of the pandemic, I refused to criticize Fauci because I understand this is an uncertain field where things constantly evolve.
My faith in Fauci was lost after two statements.
The first being his initial stance that we had nothing to worry about here in the United States.
The second was his flip-flop on masks, which to me seems like it should be a cut and dry case either way.
His first congressional hearing was eye-opening for me, as Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) exposed him badly.
We have since heard Fauci back policy that had no discernable science behind it and blatantly dismiss the science in other areas to appease Democrats.
For that reason, there are now liberals and conservatives that no longer trust the man in a role where public trust is a must.
On Wednesday’s show, Hugh Hewitt told Fauci people had lost faith and whether or not he would step down.
Hewitt stated, “I have lost confidence in the CDC and the FDA and I actually believe a lot of Americans, a significant part of America now have lost confidence in you, Dr. Fauci.
“Is there a point where you will say, ‘I do more harm than good because people don’t listen to me anymore,’ and step aside?”
Fauci responded, “No. Absolutely, unequivocally no, Hugh. Sorry.
“When you have an evolving situation and data are rapidly evolving in something that is unprecedented and unknown, you have to evolve with it and look at the data as it exists now and make to the best of your ability a decision, a recommendation, all the kinds of things that go into the evolution.”
Finally!@hughhewitt challenges Dr. Fauci on why he doesn’t resign seeing as his history of hypocrisy, flip-flops, and failed predictions have destroyed his value as a public-health official.
Fauci, unsurprisingly, is aghast & refuses to take the suggestion seriously. pic.twitter.com/tzV7ckfP4T

So, let’s hear from you guys. Do you think people are not taking the jab because of Dr. Fauci?
Do you think those same people would take the vaccine if a new face were on the program?
We cannot wait to see what you have to say on this one!
