Another tragedy in yet another small town in Texas.
While holding vigil at the site of a local man’s shooting, a young woman was killed and 13 more injured.
According to reports, as the vigil was taking place on the 1400 block of North Market Loop in Baytown, TX, shooters unleashed on the crowd.
Not Again
This is eerily reminiscent of another shooting that took place last week.
Once again, the community was holding a vigil to join the mother at her son’s murder site when more shots rang out.
According to local police, the shooting took place around 6:40 p.m. Sunday.
Sgt. Greg Campbell stated, “While they were having their celebration of life and releasing balloons in the air, an unknown suspect drove down this road and shot rounds into that group of people.”
The victim has been identified as Disha Allen, believed to be in her 20s.
She was transported to a local hospital and later pronounced dead…

The violence continued at the hospital after the victims were transported.
Sgt. Campbell stated, “When everyone got to the hospital, a large fight ensued and we had to contact other agencies to help with that large fight.”
No arrests have been made in the shooting and police are hoping for help for anyone that may have seen anything.
They are asking tipsters to call the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit or Houston CrimeStoppers.
