Joe Biden is trying to stack the judiciary with activists instead of jurors who will take the law seriously.
Senator Kennedy (R-LA) hammered Nusrat Jahan Choudhury during her confirmation hearing.
Her own words should disqualify her from this confirmation.
Jurors, Not Advocates and Activists
There is not supposed to be a middle ground when it comes to the law.
There surely is no room for advocacy on the bench, which has sadly permeated today’s judiciary.
To that point, Kennedy asked Choudhury about a comment she made while at Princeton.
The judicial nominee stated that cops in America kill unarmed black people every day.
Her response… “Senator, I said it in my role as an advocate to make a rhetorical point.”
That, right there, in my eyes, she is done.
Here is the exchange…
Sen. John Kennedy: "Do you believe cops kill unarmed Black men in America every single day? You said it at Princeton."
Judicial nominee Choudhury: "I said it in my role as an advocate to make a rhetorical point."

We know any officer that shows up in her courtroom will not get a fair shake, a point made by Senator Kennedy.
He stated, “Your record shows that if a cop — if a cop shoots a criminal it’s the cop’s fault, and if a criminal shoots a cop it’s the gun’s fault. I’ve read your record.
“I’ve read your record and I don’t appreciate you not answering the question straight up.
“I would respect you a lot more if you’d just tell us what you believe and not try to hide it.”
Any vote to confirm this woman is a vote against the men and women in blue.
Last year, police shot and killed 1,055 people.
Of those, six were unarmed black men.
Not only is this woman an advocate and activist, but she lies through her teeth, and we are supposed to trust her decision on the bench?
I don’t think so.
