Sri Lankan protestors are on the move, and things are getting ugly.
A report on July 9 indicates that rioters were able to breach their president Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s office.
Gotabaya was forced to flee the compound as the rioters overran both his security and his building.
Thousands of people had surrounded the leader’s home to demand his resignation.
The cause of their outrage is the country’s unprecedented economic crisis.

Security quickly realized that they weren’t going to be able to hold the massive mob back for long and did what they could as the leader of their nation escaped.
Apparently, the guards fired guns into the air to keep rioters at bay until the VIP was able to be escorted to safety out the back.
Once inside, the rioters made themselves quite at home.
