Florida Drops $3.5 Million Fine on County for Violation of Vaccine Passport Law

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is not playing.

DeSantis stated that he did not want to see vaccine passports in the state, and he meant it.

Leon County just found out the hard way, getting hit with a multi-million fine for violating the policy.

Pay Up

Some governors have been talking tough but not backing it up.

The same cannot be said for Governor DeSantis.

After the Leon County required employees to provide proof of vaccination, it got hammed by the state health department for violating DeSantis’ mandate.

The state health department called it a “blatant violation” and slapped the county with a $3.5 million fine.

Governor DeSantis stated, “It is unacceptable that Leon County violated Florida law, infringed on current and former employees’ medical privacy, and fired loyal public servants because of their personal health decisions.

“We will continue fighting for Floridians’ rights and the Florida Department of Health will continue to enforce the law.

“We’re going to stand up for Floridians’ jobs, stand up for Floridians’ livelihoods, and stand up for freedom.”

The county plans to fight the fine, setting up yet another battle over COVID vaccines likely to wind up before the Supreme Court.

    1. Yes, not like moron In California !!!! Great job, Mr. De Santis . His 12 yr old Daughter is not vaxxed?!?! They are Protecting their own … 😱

    2. The DOJ must be made to do its job and and bring to justice any person or entity, public or private, that attempts to force individuals to to take a vaccine that is not approved by the FDA. There is no Covid vaccine available in the USA that is fully approved. Don’t be fooled by those illegally claiming that the Pfizer vaccine is now fully approved because it isn’t. The Pfizer vaccine available here is not the variant approved for use in other countries. While all the arguments currently being offered against forcing people to take the currently available vaccines there is none more obvious than the fact that this country has no FDA approved Covid vaccine. According to law any emergency use declaration of any drug by the FDA includes the statement that the drug must be requested by the individual recipient. So Biden and anyone forcing people to take one of the currently available Covid vaccines need to be pursued and apprehended by the DOJ and all policing entities.

  1. Thank you Gov. DeSantis, for standing up for the American freedom.

    God Bless you!!🙏🙏

  2. I wish Tennessee had this law. It isn’t right to force anyone to inject a vaccine that is still in the test mode.

    1. this is NOT a Vaccine, it’s a Population Reduction Program to kill at least 50% of the world population for the ELITES can have and RULE over Everything on earth.

  3. I’m dissatisfied with the performance of the vaccines and I think the American people should expect better. We should demand a better vaccine. They are spending billions on this inadequate vaccine. How much are they spending to come up with a vaccine that actually works?

  4. A case of both sides wasting taxpayers money?
If so then the only outcome might be bankruptcy, and the biden administration will see their opening to propose a communist solution.
I wish citizens would sit and read carefully the COMMUNIST MANIFESTO and the U.N. AGENDA 21 and understand what is taking place in America!

  5. We need many more leaders like DeSantis. He stands behind the people who elected him and doesn’t try to take our freedoms away.
