On Sunday, Kamala Harris got another powder puff interview from CBS.
The Margaret Brennan interview aired on “Face the Nation,” clearly trying to help improve Harris’ image.
Not only was the interview an epic fail for Harris, but a former staffer has come forward to explain precisely why Harris is stumbling so bad on these easy answers.
Frustrating
Harris flubbed just about every question thrown her way.
Once again, the nervous cackle showed up when Harris was asked about her biggest failure.
The question we want to concentrate on, however, was when Harris was asked about transitory inflation.
Brennan asked, “Was it wrong to consider inflation transitory? These price spikes seem like they’re going to be with us for a while.”
Harris stumbled through her answer, stating, “We have to address the fact that we have got to deal with the fact that folks are paying for gas, paying for groceries, and are — need solutions to it. So let’s talk about that.
“Short-term solution includes what we need to do around the supply chain, right? So, we went to the ports of Los Angeles, Long Beach, Savannah, Georgia, and said, ‘Hey, guys, no more five days a week, eight hours a day; 24/7, let’s move the products because people need their product – they need what they need.’
“We’re dealing with it in terms of the long term. And that’s about what we need to do to pass Build Back Better. It strengthens our economy.”

That is not exactly an answer to the question.
Her answer did nothing more than eat-up time, but it did not address if and when this inflation will start to go in the other direction.
A former staff of Harris’ came forward to explain this is because Harris never reads her briefings and goes into these interviews completely unprepared.
The staffer stated, “It’s clear that you’re not working with somebody who is willing to do the prep and the work.
“With Kamala you have to put up with a constant amount of soul-destroying criticism and also her own lack of confidence.
“So you’re constantly sort of propping up a bully and it’s not really clear why.”
This is exactly why staffers are now leaving Harris’ office en masse.
