Yet another black eye for the NFL.

Legendary running back Adrian Peterson was arrested in LAX on Sunday morning.

Peterson got into an alleged incident with his wife, Ashley Brown.

CHARGED

Considering the location of the arrest, Peterson and his wife must have been headed to the Super Bowl.

The two allegedly got into an argument on the plane, and Peterson was taken into custody upon his arrival at LAX.

When his wife was seen, reports stated that she did have a mark on her as a result of the altercation.

This is far from Peterson’s first bout on this front.

If you recall, when Peterson was still in his playing days, he faced capital punishment charges for disciplining one of his children.

At the time, Peterson allegedly hit his child with a switch, commonplace when he was growing up, not so much now.

The fact that Peterson was arrested coming off the plane does not bode well for him, as we have to assume there were ample witnesses to the alleged incident.

The fact that this happened on Super Bowl Sunday did the league no favors.
