Sadly, the case of the missing 24-year-old Georgia teacher has been solved.
Alexandra Morales, who taught school near Atlanta, was found by the roadside in Mexico.
Morales had gone to Mexico to go to a concert and had been missing since October 30.
Morales was a first-grade teacher at Benefield Elementary School in Lawrenceville, GA.
She had last been seen in or around the Guadalajara, Mexico, area.
After being seen at the concert, family and friends were unable to contact her.
Sloan Roach, a spokeswoman for Gwinnett County Public Schools, stated, “We were all very hopeful that they would find her and she would be returning safely but that was not the case.”

Police have reported that a person of interest is in custody related to her murder.
However, no further details were given, nor was it apparent as to the cause of death.
Destiny Porter, whose son was taught by Morales, stated, “It’s never easy finding out that somebody in your school community has passed away, especially if they were a part of your children’s lives.
“We decided to tell the kids together as we do most things.
“They were a little upset. I don’t think it’s really set in yet. They have questions like anybody does.”
Yessica Ortero, a close friend of Morales’ stated, “(I) never would have thought she was going to be found dead.
“You don’t — you don’t expect that.
“I knew she was going to a concert because she had been posting about it. I don’t know, I’m still in shock. You know, it’s sad.”
