Gallup Poll: Major Shift from Democrat Party to GOP

This administration is doing wonders for the GOP.

Donald Trump, a man who left office having driven moderates away from the GOP, is now an odds-on-favorite in most mock polls.

But that is not the worst of it for the Democrat Party.

In the latest Gallup poll, Republicans are now the party of choice for most Americans.

Changing Parties

We all probably have friends that left the GOP during the 2020 election and registered as Democrats.

That trend has shifted rather dramatically.

Generally speaking, there are usually more registered Democrats nationwide than there are Republicans.

That appears to be changing.

At the end of 2021, the poll found that 47 percent of voters identified as Republicans, with only 42 percent identifying as Democrats.

That is a significant shift from the beginning of the year when 49 percent identified as Democrats and a mere 40 percent identified as Republicans.

That is the biggest shift in party identification that this poll has seen in three decades.

Fox News recently did a segment on this regarding the big surge for the GOP…

What do you think?

Are we going to see a major pivot in 2022?
