A free press was at the cornerstone of the founding of our Democratic Republic.
Our Founding Fathers realized this and made it the very first amendment of our Constitution.
Today’s media abuses that privilege and former congressman Trey Gowdy just obliterated them for it

The media will always have a slight lean one way or the other based on the views of the journalist telling the story.
That is human nature.
However, we should expect our media to conduct fair and honest investigations and not interject their personal feelings to the point it dominates the narrative.
That is a lesson that needs to be retaught to today’s journalists.
You know it has gone too far when you see anchors crying on TV because their candidate lost.
When you have media members taking it upon themselves to be the savior of the American people, as we often saw with CNN’s Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo, it has gone too far.
We are now at a point where most Americans no longer trust the media.
According to Gowdy, the violation of that trust has taken a toll, with a mere 10 percent of Americans fully trusting the media.
Gowdy recalled his time in Congress and dealing with the media
He stated, “The most frustrating part of being in D.C. was the media headwind. I believed then and now that the referee is biased.
“When they are biased or unfair, you begin to question whether fairness is a virtue anymore, whether it’s worth pursuing when others don’t seem to.”
The media has literally become a tool for Democrats to use, which was proven when Pelosi scolded the media for not selling Biden’s Build Back Better plan.
Within days, headlines were on every major leftist site touting the plan and explaining all the aspects that had high approval ratings and ignoring the all the hidden landmines the Democrats planted in there.
