As we all know, this administration has more or less made the United States an open borders country.
When Secretary Mayorkas called off workplace raids, he killed yet another process where ICE was able to apprehend and deport mass amounts of illegal immigrants.
Senator Graham (R-S.C.) now believes these policies encourage far more than those looking for a better economic opportunity than they had in their home country.
Gucci Immigrants
The surge at the border seems to get worse with every passing day.
Reports are now surfacing that the surge is far more than just your “typical’ refugee.
The immigrant bubble has now extended to those doing well in countries who appear to be taking advantage of the idea that this administration seems hell-bent on not deporting anyone anymore.
To that point, Graham stated, “Now, what Mayorkas did today, calling off all the raids of worksites, is going to be another incentive for people to come, because the word is out.
“You come, you claim asylum, you never leave.
“The policy choices of Biden are all over the world now.”
He continued, “40,000 Brazilians come through the Yuma Sector alone headed for Connecticut wearing designer clothes and Gucci bags.
“This is not economic migration anymore.”
Graham added that generally, the migrants that have traveled to our border “look like they’ve been through hell,” but “this time at Yuma, there were dozens that looked like they were checking into a hotel.”
These “migrants” are not taking the usual ground route but instead flying into Mexico then trying to cross the border illegally to take advantage of the lax border policies of Joe Biden.
If this now becomes the norm, the massive numbers we saw throughout the summer will be nothing compared to the surge we see this winter.
