The filibuster as we know it today was put in place in the 1970s.

During Harris’ last year in the Senate, Democrats made use of the filibuster a shocking 327 times.

Now it no longer suits their purpose, so Harris is calling the rule “arcane.”

Change of Heart

All Democrats did when Republicans had control of the Senate was block legislation.

I did not like it, but those are the rules, and Republicans did not have the numbers to beat them.

Democrats are now in the same situation, only what they are doing is utterly ridiculous.

Republicans wanted to work with Dems when Trump was in office.

Heck, Trump begged them to come to the table for honest and sincere negotiations, but they refused.

Again, their prerogative.

However, the fact is that Democrats used the filibuster a total of 327 times during the last year of Trump’s term.

Yet, this is what Harris is now saying about the filibuster…

So, it is a simple question…

If the rule is arcane, why did she contribute to using it so many times the last year she was in office?

If she thought it was so arcane, why did she not lead an effort to break the filibuster in 2020 rather than use it 327 times?

I should not be the one asking these questions because White House press pool reporters should be.

So, Kamala, explain yourself…
