Kamala Harris had yet another opportunity to really do something positive… and she blew it again.
Harris was tasked with heading to Highland Park, IL, to console the families of the mass shooting and score some gun control points with Democrats.
After this debacle, it is hard to imagine she is given anything other than lunches with kids from here on out (oh, wait, we forgot, she screwed those up too).
Not Again
I almost find myself rooting for Harris now just out of sheer embarrassment for the country.
That is especially true in these types of situations, where she really needs to deliver for people, regardless of party.
These families and this community needed to be consoled, not get regurgitated garbage, but that is what Harris served up again.
During her press conference, Harris stated, “We’ve got to take this stuff seriously, as seriously as you are because you have been forced to take this seriously.”
Seriously… three times she said that word in the space of about three seconds.

National Review contributor Pradheep J. Shanker summed it up best with his short and sweet comment, stating, “She is amazingly bad at this.”
So, we have figured out that Harris is incapable of making off-the-cuff remarks, so her staff should have cards in her hands every time a microphone is stuck in her face.
This was an easy one… show empathy, express regret, check all the boxes, and simply be authentic.
Kamala Harris was incapable of doing any of that.
She is done… taking the number two spot on Joe’s ticket was supposed to propel this woman to the next level, but her political career should be over after this.
Perhaps she gets resurrected in another administration as an Attorney General or goes back to the Senate, but I just don’t see it happening.
She appears to be about as smart as a box of rocks, and the American people have lost complete faith in her to the point that her approval ratings are lower than Joe Biden’s, and that is saying something.
