This administration has regularly spit in the face of Americans regarding CDC guidelines on COVID.
It happened again this weekend with Kamala Harris.
Harris was in close contact with Biden just prior to his COVID diagnosis.
Yet, she continued to make appearances, even removing her mask BEFORE giving out all kinds of hugs and kisses.
Performative Art
Per the CDC, after close contact with a COVID-positive patient, you are supposed to wear a form-fitted mask.
Yet, this was Kamala Harris this weekend…
Kamala Harris — who the White House said yesterday was a "close contact" with Biden and his COVID diagnosis — walks on stage, immediately removes her mask, and hugs the moderator. pic.twitter.com/4eBTxSDq4M

So, the first guy pulls his mask away as he talks to Harris, then she takes hers off to hug and kiss the moderator.
CNN’s MJ Lee jumped all over this, asking, “Vice President Harris is a close contact of the president’s, and the CDC guidance says that if you’re a close contact, you want to wear a well-fitting mask when you’re around other people.
“She just spoke at a conference in D.C. and she hugged someone without a mask on. She was also maskless for most of that conversation.
“Would you have recommended that she keep her mask on, given that that is the CDC guidance?”
White House COVID response coordinator Dr. Ashish Jha could not answer the question directly, only offering up spin, but Lee would not back off.
Lee hammered away, “I guess she isn’t following the CDC guidance though — right? — if she is hugging someone without a mask on?
“I just wanted your clarification on that.”
Jha continued to make excuses, even going after the “extended period of time” narrative.
Here is the full exchange…
When Harris’ office was asked about the contact, it refused to comment directly about it.
Instead, the office stated, “This morning, Vice President Harris tested negative for COVID-19 and is experiencing no symptoms.”
These people took our lives, many of our careers, away from us over this and they regularly disregard their own rules.
When do we say enough is enough?
How about on November 8, 2022, and November 5, 2024?
