Earlier this week, we reported on California officials asking residents to take the homeless into their homes to cover up the problem during Super Bowl coverage.
When it was recommended, I said it was ridiculous and dangerous considering the mental health of many of these individuals.
A woman in Utah just proved me wrong.
So Much for Being Grateful
A Salt Lake City woman surely thought she was doing a good deed.
She opened up her home to a local homeless man and paid a dear price for it.
After allowing the man into her home to shower, he paid her back by allegedly cutting her throat.
Officers responded to a call for a woman bleeding heavily from her neck.
She was transported to a local hospital and, thankfully, is now reported to be in stable condition.
The suspect has been identified as Eric Jones, a 30-year-old homeless man.
Jones was found and apprehended about two days after the attack, and he is now facing one count of aggravated assault.
Do you think California Democrats are out of line for asking people to take the homeless into their homes?
