Today, a shiver must have gone right up the spine of this administration.
For more than a year, there has been a DOJ investigation into Hunter Biden for among other things, possible tax violations and foreign business dealings.
We have heard very little on the movement of the investigation, with many of the reports being downplayed or outright dismissed.
Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) believes he knows why.

Grassley has been demanding updates on this investigation for months, with very little to show for it.
On Monday, reports started to blow up regarding whistleblowers that are sick and tired of this being shoved under the carpet.
In letters penned to Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray, Grassley wrote, “The information provided to my office involves concerns about the FBI’s receipt and use of derogatory information relating to Hunter Biden, and the FBI’s false portrayal of acquired evidence as disinformation.
“The volume and consistency of these allegations substantiate their credibility and necessitate this letter.
“First, it’s been alleged that the FBI developed information in 2020 about Hunter Biden’s criminal financial and related activity.
“It is further alleged that in August 2020, FBI Supervisory Intelligence Analyst Brian Auten opened an assessment which was used by an FBI Headquarters (“FBI HQ”) team to improperly discredit negative Hunter Biden information as disinformation and caused investigative activity to cease.
“The allegations provided to my office appear to indicate that there was a scheme in place among certain FBI officials to undermine derogatory information connected to Hunter Biden by falsely suggesting it was disinformation.”
My take on this investigation is that it would be drug out until the election.
The moment Democrats know they will lose congressional power, a report will be produced to dismiss the charges against Hunter Biden or to offer a generous plea deal that would get the entire family off the hook.
This report by Grassley is a game-changer on that front and it is something that will muddy up the waters and get the media abuzz.
This is a cover-up, my friends, that I have never doubted.
The only question is if the GOP can muster enough of a backbone to expose it.
