Hillary Clinton is showing her true colors.

She will only back a cause when it benefits her situation.

To that point, Hillary is hinting that Democrats should back off the transgender narrative with elections right around the corner.

Only When It’s Convenient

You have heard me say numerous times that when things are at their most difficult, that is when you really need to stick to your guns.

For those of us who are 2A advocates, that means defending the Second Amendment after a mass shooting when people despise you the most.

Hillary is telling Democrats to abandon everything but the election right now, which tells you how she feels about the cause.

A reporter asked her, “Democrats seem to be going out of their way to lose elections by elevating activist causes, notably the transgender debate, which are relevant only to a small minority.

“What sense does it make to depict JK Rowling as a fascist?”

Hillary responded, “We are standing on the precipice of losing our democracy, and everything that everybody else cares about then goes out the window.

“Look, the most important thing is to win the next election.

“The alternative is so frightening that whatever does not help you win should not be a priority.”

I guess that would be the same democracy we were going to lose in 2016 if Trump got elected.

This “elect us or the world is over” nonsense is no longer playing with the American people.

More importantly, however, is to realize that Democrats are only about your cause if it will get them votes.

This is not to say that there are not Republicans doing the same thing because there are.

And, we are going to find out who every one of them is over the next few months.

Senator McConnell, Senator Graham, Senator Romney, Senator Cornyn… we are watching.
