Boy, even Republicans couldn’t have anticipated having this big of an impact.
Disney’s stock is crashing.
Since Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced that he was going to hit Disney where it hurts, the company’s value has been plummeting.
The market knows that Americans are serious about not spending money with the Mickey Mouse company anymore.
What Disney has done is absolutely disgusting, especially when you consider what a formative part of most American kids’ childhood they are.
The danger behind a company like Disney being furious that children under the age of eight can’t be forced into sexual conversations with adults is what it represents.
If they are willing to put out that message when they are pressed, then how long have they been rather secretly peddling those same views veiled behind bright colors and cartoons on the screen.
Because of the impact Disney has on our children, they need to be held accountable.
It looks like the stock market is ready to do just that.
