Arnold Schwarzenegger has always had a soft spot in his heart for our veterans.
He is not quite at the level of Gary Sinise, but he does his fair share to help veterans.
His latest act is something that we thought needed to be celebrated.
Tiny Homes
One of the strategies that has been invoked to help the homeless has been the creation of these “tiny homes” for them to live in.
They are very small units placed in makeshift camps that enable the homeless to stay out of the elements while at the same time cleaning up the aesthetics of the city.
Rather than having tent cities with trash all over the place, there are newly created little neighborhoods filed with these small homes for the homeless.
Schwarzenegger ponied up $250,000 specifically to house homeless veterans.
As a result, 25 of our homeless vets will go to bed tonight with a roof over their heads.
Schwarzenegger posted a few pictures of the vets who just found out they now have a roof over their heads for the foreseeable future…
Today, I celebrated Christmas early. The 25 homes I donated for homeless veterans were installed here in LA. It was fantastic to spend some time with our heroes and welcome them into their new homes. pic.twitter.com/2mHKfoZ65V

Each unit is 64-square-feet and the home is fitted with two beds, air-conditioning, and heating units.
It may not be luxurious, but it is a home.
After receiving the keys to his new home, one vet stated, “No squirrels and no rats… It’s home.”
This is just an amazingly generous act by Schwarzenegger that has truly changed the lives of dozens of people this Christmas.
