Republicans have lost yet another representative in committees.
After posting an anime video attack of AOC, Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) has been censured by the House.
As part of his punishment, all of his committee assignments have been removed.
Here We Go Again…
I won’t defend what Gosar did simply because the environment that has permeated this Democrat-run House.
It was idiotic to think he could post something like that without the entire left freaking out.
He should have had the common sense to know that.
House Speaker Pelosi (D-CA) and several Democrats made it out as though it was a legitimate threat, which is utterly ridiculous.
However, this was their precious AOC, and we know her feelings are in a glasshouse, so Pelosi jumped into action and took Gosar out.
As expected, the two Republicans that are no longer really Republicans, Reps. Cheney (R-WY) and Kinzinger (R-IL), voted in favor of the censure, so now Pelosi also gets to brag that it was a bipartisan measure.
Gosar defended himself, stating, “I do not espouse violence or harm towards any Member of Congress or Mr. Biden.
“The video depicts the fight taking place next week on the House floor and symbolizes the battle for the soul of America when Congress takes up Mr. Biden’s massive $4 trillion spending bill that includes amnesty for millions of illegal aliens already in our country and was not meant to depict any harm or violence against anyone portrayed in the anime.”
This is yet another one to file away once Republicans take back Congress.
Democrats have set the precedent of extremism with the gavel in hand, and in this tit-for-tat environment, you better believe there will be repercussions on the flip side of this.
At the very least, I would imagine that once Republicans take the House back, the first two Democrats on the list for censure will be Reps. Waters (D-CA) and Bush (D-MO).
