The liberal world would love us all to believe that Hunter Biden is the next Vincent Van Gogh.,
The prices for his first gallery showing have been set, and they are quite staggering, with some paintings expected to go for as much as $500,000.
The problem is the art simply is not worth that much and appears to be a blatant payoff to buy influence with the White House.
Just Not Good
I am not an art critic, but I would like to think I know the difference between arts and crafts and real artwork.
Hunter Biden’s “technique” is something that most children learn during summer camp.
That, however, is not preventing liberals from drooling all over his efforts for work that I would not even put up on my fridge.
Jeffry Cudlin, professor of art curatorial studies and practice at the Maryland Institute College of Art, seems to agree.
When recently asked to grade Hunter’s efforts, he was far from complimentary.
He stated, “How much of that value is due to the art itself? That’s easy: None of it.
“They’re fine decorative amateur work. Hey, everybody needs a hobby!”
Cudlin went on to say that not a single piece of Hunter’s work is memorable, and a more appropriate price range would be $850-$3,000, which is more than likely only because of the family name, not the actual paintings.
The fact that the gallery showing Hunter Biden’s work has agreed to keep buyers’ names anonymous only adds to the speculation that this is more about Joe’s friends helping Hunter get out of debt and gaining favor with the White House.
This is blatant corruption hiding in plain sight.
