Ingraham Says Trump Endorsement Was a Mistake

Fox News’ Laura Ingraham usually eats up just about everything that Donald Trump does and says.

She is one of several personalities on the network that all but refuse to call out Trump even when it is a glaring mistake.

I am already on record saying that Trump should have stayed out of the PA Senate race instead of endorsing Dr. Oz.

While Hannity fell in line, Laura Ingraham has not, now openly calling out Trump for what she believes is a mistake.

Bad Call

I believe Trump has spread himself too thin in this election cycle.

In some cases, such as David Perdue, Trump made a desperate endorsement solely to try to remove someone he does not like from office.

I completely understand his frustration with Governor Kemp, but Perdue is a very weak candidate, and Trump should have stayed away from him.

Dr. Oz was an even more obvious snub, but Trump backed him anyway.

I do not care what Oz says publicly; I think he is a closet liberal and his writings (which he denies are his) on gun control are proof of that.

Oz has openly supported abortion, he has praised Hillary Clinton, and he was for Obamacare… it does not get more liberal than that, yet Trump endorsed him.

Ingraham asked Kellyanne Conway if it was a mistake, but she dodged the question because she did not want to risk being put out of Trump’s inner circle.

Ingraham was not so kind, responding, “Hannity I believe endorsed Oz, and I think that’s probably not inconsequential for President Trump.

“You wouldn’t answer the question whether it was a mistake. I think it was a mistake to endorse Oz. I’ll say it, I’m not afraid to say it.

“It was a mistake to endorse Oz. I think he’s probably the greatest guy ever, this is nothing personal, but I think it was a mistake.”

I have always stated that I would give you guys my honest assessment regardless of the pushback, even when I know it will anger some of our readers.

In this case, Trump made a mistake, and kudos to Ingraham for pointing it out.
