There has not been much made about the fact that Joe Biden and many of his top officials were vacationing when Afghanistan was falling.

We all know the media would have had a field day had Secretary of State Mike Pompeo been out hunting during such a crisis.

Regardless, Rep. Jackson (R-TX) laid into Blinken on this very subject when he had him in the hot seat during the congressional hearings on the Afghanistan withdrawal.

Nailed It!

I started to raise questions about the timing of White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki taking vacation time with the withdrawal going on.

Then we found out Joe Biden was taking an extended weekend between Camp David and Delaware.

As bad as all that was, this was something that falls under the direct purview of the Secretary of State, yet he was on vacation too!

Reports surfaced after the fact that Blinken was in the Hampton’s sipping on lemonade when Afghanistan fell.

Rep. Jackson hammered him on this point, with a few more jabs for good measure…

I only wish Blinken’s face would have been on a screen share when Jackson was laying into him.

This administration is literally getting away with murder, so it was nice to see someone finally call them out on it.

Now, hopefully, someone else will bring up the fact that Joe Biden ordered a drone strike that killed an innocent family and claimed it was an ISIS-K planner.
